Session 13 - Leosin Who? (recap)

Phlan

As the party finished up their time in Phlan, Zoyana decided to frog it up in the bay, but failed to find any new majestic bests to befriend. And then gave Pliny a big froggy kiss to wake him up.

Aegar slept in late, and was surprised to see Petcan the elf waiting for him in the common room. Displaying thanks and a bit of thievish arrogance, she offered to take care of Gwendolyne’s Home for Poor Children if Aegar were to set up an endowment to fund the school. A quick exchange of gems, a nod of the head, and she was gone.

To Greenest

The party enjoyed some bonding in discussing Aegar’s feeling of need to travel to Greenest to deliver Wylder’s message to the unknown person named Leosin there. They agreed to stick together.

The party gathered in the clearing behind Madame Freona’s, and Aegar pulled out his Token of Teleportation.

Holding the token aloft, Aegar spun the disk in the middle and thought of the icon that Brother Keefe had described. With a ting, the token started to spin and float on its own. A familiar circle surrounded the party and, with a flash of light…

Greenest

…The party appeared in front of a memorial crypt at the Temple of Chauntea.

After inquiring about local establishments, the party made their way to The Cat & Squirrel Inn and met Eled the Innkeeper, a youthful looking middle-aged half elf who “confused” Zoyana with a child, and enjoyed a drink of the local special: Elven Battle Spirit (which granted each vigor in the form of 5HP temporary hit points until the next long rest). Pliny, finding himself a lightweight on this day, failed a saving throw and is now drunk (with the poisoned condition).

The party asked Eled about the local gossip and discussed a number of things they were planning to do. Among them:

• Find Leosin
  • Tell him necromancers are desecrating the ground and trying to raise Tiamat
• Group bonding
• Get more gossip
• Get plate mail fixed
• Follow up on bandits on the road (Eled says Governor Nighthill is looking for some help)
• Follow up on the missing local fey have disappeared and have stopped blessing local farms
• Thenrey the butcher is always boasting about bets and games of chance.
• Take a look at the graffiti someone has been carving into the great oak tree behind The Cat & Squirrel Inn
• Talk to the clerics currently enjoying a pint at The Cat & Squirrel Inn and visit the Temple of Chauntea proper.
• Visit The Hurling Heffer (bar)

The session ended with a plan to start with an introduction to Governor Tarbaw Nighthill at the Greenest Keep.
