In this session, our party learned how hard it is on the DM when we split the party…
- Aegar went on a solo adventure of Innocense, Peace, Patience, and Wisdom and took his formal Oath of Redemption
- Pliny and Zoyana teamed up in a hunt for Aegar
- Aegar was accosted by some Welcomer bandits, and the team met up to save him
- Including the introduction of our Tiefling Wylder
- Wylder provided Aegar with a Token of Teleportation and a message from her patron:
Thank your friend for Gwendolyn. Tell him he’s too trusting… Have your friend tell Leosin to seek Varram the White in the Serpent Hills. Give him this. He’ll know when to use it. Tell them to follow the white rabbit.
- After the party confirmed that Bob the Bard did not send the Welcomer bandits,
- The party regrouped again at Madame Freona’s Tea Kettle, had a real introduction with Wylder, and took to their beds with no idea who Leosin was or why to tell him? her? anything.
- The next morning, a troublesome cry disturbed your morning meal, as a distraught woman sought aid.
- Aegar jumped to respond and the others followed.
- Millivent Moss led the characters to her family’s peat harvesting farm and whowed them where the raid took place.
- As Zoyana began to look around for where they might have gone, Pliny shouts “I got this” and starts down the trail after the goblins. Together, they lead the party a good hour into the hills and woods.
- The trails make it appear that about a dozen prisoners were being dragged.
- The prints in the mud show that more than a dozen goblin-sized creatures passed through here today.
- One larger-sized creature also walked with the other creatures. The print size reveals that this creature was probably larger than a human, though not as large as an ogre.
- The session closed as the party reached the caves that the goblins call home…
