Session 1: Part 1. Surprise Test (Call to Action).

• In separate places, the players described their characters and their typical Tuesday morning in the town of Phlan

Continuing story

• Each separately saw a circle of golden light start to form, and then add some runes and some arrows pointing inward.
• As the pattern finished, up from this circle came a short sword, followed by a skeletal hand, and then another hand.
• As they were sitting there, half awestruck, a skeleton climbed out of the portal and in the middle of the street, the hotel room, and the forest.
• The skeletons, with glowing red eyes, pulled back to swing. 3 fights ensued.
• Aegar
  • Aegar raised his flail, stepped toward his skeleton, and brought down a crushing blow flattening the skeleton.
  • From the graund Aegar’s skeleton flails around with his short sword and misses.
  • With his second swing, Aegar sends the skeleton’s head flying against the wall, where it settles, read eyes looking back at Aegar.
  • In his head, Aegar hears “Well done!”
• Zoyana
  • Zoyana sees the skeleton and says “Nope.” Using her halfling nimbleness, she slides by the skeleton, disengages, and climbs up on of the trees supporting her hammock.
  • Zoyana’s skeleton began circling the tree and waiving it’s sword trying to reach her.
  • Zoyana leaps into the air, and briefly has a flash of landing in the skeleton’s arms before completing her flip with her scimitar and cleaves the skeleton’s head from it’s body.
  • She hears in her head “Well done!”
• Pliny
  • At first, Pliny pulls his rapier and pokes the skeleton with a solid strike. The skeleton keeps coming.
  • Pliny’s skeleton, still standing, stabs the half elf.
  • Not wanting to fight anymore, Pliny shakes the tavern to it’s foundation with an Earth Tremor spell, knocking his skeleton prone.
  • With its eyes glowing red, Pliny’s skeleton rises and tags him in the chest, dropping him unconscious and bleeding out.
• Then under all three characters, another circle appeared. It was made of blue and gold with gold arrows pointing inward, and the red light in the eyes of each skeleton faded as a blinding flash of light consumed your bodies and your belongings as you were teleported to an unknown destination…
